CROSSCON at Embedded World Exhibition & Conference 2024
The CROSSCON project participated in the Embedded World Exhibition & Conference 2024, held in Nuremberg, Germany. Embedded World is one of the leading international events for embedded systems technologies, bringing together industry experts, researchers, and practitioners to discuss current trends, challenges, and innovations in embedded and IoT systems.
At Embedded World 2024, CROSSCON presented two technical papers showcasing key results of the project in the area of secure-by-design embedded systems. The contributions focused on CROSSCON’s vision of a cross-platform open security stack, addressing security, safety, and mixed-criticality requirements through virtualization, isolation, and trusted execution mechanisms across heterogeneous platforms, including RISC-V.
The presented works provided insights into the project architecture, core technologies, and ongoing developments, highlighting how open-source approaches can support the construction of secure and flexible embedded and IoT systems.
